Day 72 of Gratitude – Serendipity

My son bought a car today – and it wasn’t any of them we had lined up to take a look at. It was better.

I was supposed to get together with my friend Theresa on Tuesday, but she was sick. She called this morning to ask if today would work. When I told her I’d be tied up all day looking at cars with Andrew, she suggested we call her car guy.  Given how few cars there are with vaguely reasonable mileage in the price range we needed, it wasn’t likely that he’d have anything, but we called. Guess what? He’d taken one in on trade last night. It hadn’t even been vacuumed out yet when Andrew test drove it. The service records were impecable. And it was priced under market.

Andrew now has a car … thanks to an unrelated phone call from Theresa this morning. It’s nice to have friends!
