Day 74 of Gratitude – Connections

I spent the day at an authors fair in Madison, Indiana. A few days ago, the bridge across the Ohio River from Kentucky into Madison was closed for emergency repairs. As a result, the usual 500+ attendees was whittled down to a scant 100. Few books were sold. Nevertheless, the event was a huge success because of connections made.

During the fair, I became reacquainted with Michael Williams, an incredibly talented author whose recent novel, Trajan’s Arch. I coincidentally happen to be midway through. We were both introduced to the coordinator of Hanover College’s Geek-A-Thon who would like the two of us to do a panel on writing and publishing at the annual event. And a video interview regarding my novels was recorded for release on YouTube later this month.

Connections are the stuff of life, and I’d call this a day chocked full of it!
