Writing can be lonely. It’s the only job I’ve ever had where there isn’t necessarily someone congratulating me on an immediate accomplishment or commiserating when things don’t work out. I have to seek out that camaraderie. But fortunately, I don’t have to look far. I can hop on Facebook and tell my friend Taylor Elliott about some goofy thing my fictional characters have done or are trying to force me to write. She cheers the little bits of prose I share with her and she posts things that make me smile. She makes long days of writing much more pleasant.
Thanks Taylor. I’m grateful you’re my friend!
