“A worthy sci-fi thriller a la Dean Koontz” ~ The Kirkus Review

That was what the Kirkus Review said about Terri-Lynne Smiles’ debut novel, Foreseen.  The August 27th review praises Smiles for devising “a convincing supernatural culture” in a novel “so richly detailed  that the reader accepts that this separate society of adepts exists and has its own storied hierarchy.”

“I am thrilled,” Smiles says of the review. “I paid a lot of attention to making the world of adepts feel as real as the one we commons live in. It good to see that effort pay off for the readers.”

And it did pay off in the review. From that attention to detail, the Kirkus Review concludes that “Smiles has proven that she’s skilled at crafting a nuanced page turner.”
