I’m at my son’s apartment. Last night, I watched him build an impressive desktop computer. Aside from being massively powerful, it glows Borg green when its running. Then there’s the robot – just a little something he put together for one of his classes. It rolls around the apartment, stopping a foot before it reaches an obstacle, looks around to see which direction is most clear, turns and heads off again.

The robot is a lot of fun, but even better is watching my son enjoy himself so much. He’s very happy – the greatest gift a mother can receive.
